Authors Visits

All children love music, crafts, and books. But how often do they get the chance to meet the actual author, music composer, and illustration coordinator behind their favorite stories? They can wonder, where does the idea for a character come from? How is the music created? Where the ideas come from? How to take a song and turn it into a book? How the 4D augmented reality app works on A Day In The Life Of A Kid books?

An author visit is an incredible opportunity to connect young readers with the person and process behind the arts. With unique programs designed for children as young as Pre K  (3-5 years old) all the way through 5th grade. I am able to inspire, make them sing and move,  educate in arts and entertain a wide range of future writers and artists. We can even play some instruments!

Kindred Arts is not only great for children! If you're looking for a great interactive Professional Development session for your preschool/elementary school staff, just shoot me a note. We'll have fun together sharing age-appropriate activities.

FROM THE PRESS:

"It's hard to get a child's attention. Author Anetta Kotowicz is taking a new approach to the issue in her new book Autumn Song by adding music, songs and a 4D app.

It’s agreed children need to learn to love reading to reach their full and brightest potential. But how does a parent, family member or teacher, achieve this in an ever-more connected digital age? The good news is author Anetta Kotowicz, is tackling this problem head one with her exciting and innovative new series “Day in a Life of a Kid”, which just released its first interactive book “Autumn Song”. The concept behind the series is to help children develop natural and organic skills, like the patience and focus to question, explore, create hands-on crafts, incorporate not just reading, but also to bring in the whole family to bond together playing the “Autumn Song” related board game, listen to music, sing songs, and enjoy the 4D app for an added element of interest and excitement, for kids not used to paper books alone." Learn more by clicking: http://www.crossroadstoday.com/story/39187111/autumn-song-day-in-a-life-of-a-kid-1-a-kids-book-with-supporting-4d-interactive-app-released
